Gentleman for writing, may I ask whether he is aware that there was a collision on this fast double-traffic Birmingham and Coventry road between a new 372 Jaguar car and a deer, involving the owner in expensive repairs? Can the hon. Gentleman say what his responsibility is for motorways of this kind, and whether paragraph 5 of the Goddard Report of 1953 on civil liability for damage done applies in this case?
