§ Mr. ErrollThe increased trade provided for in the Five-Year Trade Agreement should be of benefit to the economy of the whole of the United Kingdom, including Scotland, and Scottish industry will benefit directly to the extent that it can win Soviet contracts. A number of quotas in the subsidiary agreement on consumer goods, which was more recently signed in London, may be of special interest to Scotland. These include fish, floor coverings, textiles and spirits.
