HC Deb 08 December 1959 vol 615 c205
13. Mrs. Cullen

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many mothers were discharged in the month of November, 1959, from the Royal Maternity Hospital, Glasgow, on the same day as they were delivered of a baby.

Mr. Maclay

Twelve. Sir.

Later—

Mrs. Cullen

On a point of order. I think there has been a mistake, Mr. Speaker. I thought that when the Secretary of State said "Twelve", he was referring to Question No. 12. I would like to ask a supplementary question.

Mr. Speaker

I am sorry, but I was watching the hon. Lady and I observed that she did not rise. I am afraid we cannot go back to the matter now, but I regret it. I understand how it occurred.
