asked the Minister of Health if he will give favourable consideration to the provision of a vehicle to a disabled person with a double amputation below the knee.

Eligibility for power-propelled invalid tricycles depends on the degree of loss of use of the legs and, in those less severely disabled, on employment needs also, and a number of persons with double amputations below the knee are eligible on these grounds.
