HC Deb 29 April 1959 vol 604 c1259
23. Mr. Gooch

asked the Secretary of State for War whether the future use of Weybourne Anti-aircraft Camp, Norfolk, has yet been determined; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Soames

Weybourne Camp is no longer required by the Army and will be disposed of unless another Government Department has need of it. This is now being considered.

Mr. Gooch

Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether the R.A.F. are interested in taking over the camp?

Mr. Soames

A number of Government Departments are expressing interest at the moment.
