§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterThe National Assistance Board tells me that repayment to a person receiving National Assistance will not involve any reduction in his assistance.
§ Mr. ChetwyndWhilst thanking the Minister for that reply, which is very welcome, may I ask whether he can give an estimate of the numbers likely to be affected by this concession, and will he consider at the same time whether it can apply not only 12 weeks after the date of the Budget but also to those who have already been 12 weeks on National Assistance?
