HC Deb 18 November 1958 vol 595 c994
23. Mr. Malcolm MacMillan

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he is aware of complaints and anxiety in the smaller Scottish islands about the arrangement governing the use of ambulance helicopters under the National Health Service; what action he proposes to take in the matter; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. J. N. Browne

Yes, Sir. There have been some initial difficulties with the arrangements which were new to all concerned. Now that we have had some practical experience my right hon. Friend is considering what improvements can be made.
