§ Mr. John HareThis proposal was put forward by the local authority associations and is opposed by the National Allotments and Gardens Society. The associations have been informed of the views of the Society, and it is for them to consider whether they wish to pursue the matter further.
§ Mr. StoreyWill my right hon. Friend bear in mind that the allotment holders place a high value on these committees, and will he do all he can to protect their interests?
§ Mr. HareI am well aware of the views of the National Allotments and Gardens Society, and I will certainly keep these very much in mind.
