§ Mr. Lennox-BoydConditions of industrial employment have been carefully reviewed by the Hong Kong Government during the past six months. As a first step in the Government's aim to raise minimum standards, the Commissioner of Labour is making new regulations to restrict the hours of work of women and young persons in industry The regulations will be laid before the Legislative Council tomorrow and, if approved, will come into force on 1st January, 1959
