§ 30. Mr. Wallasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies why the official pamphlets entitled, "Corruption of Youth in support of Terrorism in Cyprus," and, "Church and Terrorism in Cyprus," have not been distributed in that island.
§ Mr. ProfumoSome thousands of both pamphlets were distributed last year in Cyprus.
§ Mr. WallIs my hon. Friend aware that very few members of the British community have seen the pamphlets, and will he undertake to give them even wider circulation? Is he aware that this kind of incident gives the impression that the Security Forces are kept too much on the defensive?
§ Mr. ProfumoI do not think any useful purpose would be served by circulating these documents at this stage, but if my hon. Friend or any other hon. Members would like a copy of the documents, I will certainly see that they get them.
