HC Deb 03 November 1958 vol 594 c586
13. Mr. Champion

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what progress has been made towards the inclusion of the Bottle Brook, which has been responsible for flooding in Little Eaton, Derbyshire, in the area of the Trent River Board, with a view to clearing up the unsatisfactory state of that brook.

Mr. Godber

My right hon. Friend understands that Bottle Brook is now being surveyed with a view to its becoming main river of the Trent River Board. He is informed that when the survey is completed, in about another month, the River Board proposes to hold a meeting with the local authorities concerned to discuss a scheme for improving the brook.
