Which Amendment was, in page 6. line 43, at end insert: (2) The court shall not make an attachment of earnings order if the defendant satisfies the court that the failure to make payment in accordance with the maintenance order in question was not due to his wilful refusal or culpable neglect.

And the Amendment to the proposed Amendment was, in line1, leave out "the defendant satisfies" and insert "it appears to".

Question again proposed, That "the defendant satisfies" stand part of the proposed Amendment.
