asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will introduce legislation to grant blind persons an allowance, for purposes of Income Tax, for the upkeep of a guide dog.

While thanking my hon. and learned Friend for his hopeful statement, may I ask whether he will ask his right hon. Friend to give sympathetic consideration to a concession which should not cost very much?
