§ Mr. FletcherWhile appreciating that, and while everyone, I am sure, welcomes the Lord Chancellor's recent announcement, may I ask whether the right hon. and learned Gentleman can say what sort of response has been received, and whether it is to be hoped that these Sections will be brought into operation later in the year?
§ The Attorney-GeneralI cannot, at the moment, say what response there has been to this proposal that has been circulated by the secretary to the Law Society. I think that all of us who are concerned with legal aid and advice hope that the response will be prompt and entirely satisfactory, so that this new, additional service can be brought into operation at the earliest possible moment.
