§ 20. Mr. Doughtyasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what were the total amounts of butter imported from each country in 1957 expressed as percentages of the total amount imported.
§ Mr. John HareAs the reply contains a number of figures, I will, with permission, circulate it in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
§ Mr. DoughtyWhilst not anticipating the Ministry's figures in any way, may I ask my right hon. Friend whether he will make quite certain that the proportions of New Zealand butter and of Commonwealth butter are maintained at the proper figures in future?
§ Mr. HareI would prefer that my hon. and learned Friend should first digest the figures, and if he cares to discuss them afterwards with me I shall be only too delighted to do so.
