§ Mr. WatkinsonAs my hon. Friend will realise, there are difficulties in dealing with this matter by Regulation. I will, however, consider whether other means can usefully be taken to deal with the problem.
§ Mr. BatsfordDoes my right hon. Friend agree that the blocking of traffic intersections by stationary vehicles considerably impedes the flow of traffic in urban areas?
§ Mr. WatkinsonYes, I do The only difficulty is that probably the solution implies that people who see a green traffic light will not have to move forward so that they block the intersection. It is a difficult situation and I will look at it again.
