Lords Amendment agreed to: After Amendment last inserted, insert new Clause "J":

  1. (1) This Act extends to Northern Ireland.
  2. (2) In the application of this Act to Northern Ireland the reference in section eight to the Crown Proceedings Act, 1947, is a reference to that Act as it applies in Northern Ireland.
  3. (3) For the purposes of section six of the Government of Ireland Act, 1920 (which relates to the powers of the Parliament of Northern Ireland to make laws), this Act shall be deemed to have been passed before the day appointed for the purposes of that section.
