§ 1. Mr. Brockwayasked the Minister of Labour the provisions of the Convention on forced labour which were ratified on 1st January, 1958, by Her Majesty's Government.
§ The Minister of Labour and National Service (Mr. Iain Macleod)The text of this convention was given in the White Paper, Command 313, which was published on 21st November last. Ratification covers all its provisions.
§ Mr. BrockwayMay I thank the right hon. Gentleman for his assurance about ratification, and ask whether the Convention applies to British overseas territories and Colonial Territories like Kenya?
