Resolution reported, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make provision as to the erection and maintenance of omnibus shelters and queue barriers by local authorities in Scotland, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—

  1. (a) any administrative expenses incurred for the purposes of the said Act by the Secretary of State or the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation; and
  2. (b) any increase in the sums payable out of moneys so provided under the Local Government (Financial Provisions) (Scotland) 162 Act, 1954, as amended by the Valuation and Rating (Scotland) Act, 1956, which is attributable to the provisions of the said Act.
