§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterRepresentations suggesting increase or abolition of the earnings limits for retirement pensions are received from time to time, but I cannot accept the implication that such changes would increase the extent to which people over the minimum pension ages continue at work.
§ Mr. AllaunIs it not a fact that the growing opposition to this utterly out-of-date, restrictive and reactionary rule has spread even to members of the Minister's own party? If he denies that, how does he explain three Questions from Conservative Members on the Order Paper to be answered during the next few minutes?
