§ 30. Miss Vickersasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will now make a further statement on the policy of Her Majesty's Government in regard to the Report of the United Nations Delegation to Tanganyika in 1957.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydHer Majesty's Government's policy in regard to this Report has been set out in its observations as Administering Authority for Tanganyika; a copy is in the Library of the House. The Trusteeship Council has now completed its consideration of the Report with our observations. The Council adopted a number of resolutions, nearly all of which were acceptable to the United Kingdom Delegation. The official text of these Resolutions is not yet available but, when it is, I will put a copy in the Library of the House.
