§ 59. Vice-Admiral Hughes Hallettasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will state the amounts of the maximum pensions, including increases under the Pensions (Increase) Acts, at present payable to members of the clerical officer, executive officer, higher executive officer, senior executive officer and chief executive 36 officer grades in the Civil Service who retired in April, 1939, and in April, 1949, respectively, after 40 years' pensionable service, and of the corresponding maximum pensions payable to members of those grades who retired in January, 1958.
