Resolved,

That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make provision for requiring persons who pay, or are liable to pay, contributions under the National Insurance Act, 1946. as amended by subsequent enactments, to pay contributions towards the cost of the national health service, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—

  1. (a) sums to be paid by the Minister of Health to the Exchequer of Northern Ireland and to the appropriate authority or fund in the Isle of Man, in accordance with any provisions of the said Act of the present Session relating to classes of persons in respect of whom financial adjustments in relation to Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man are made under the said Act of 1946; and
  2. (b) any administrative expenses incurred under the said Act of the present Session by the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance. the Minister of Health or the Secretary of State.— [Mr. Vosper.]
