asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Education when he expects that work will commence on the construction of a new secondary modern school at Wilnecote, in the County of Warwick.

Is the Minister aware that the President of the Board of Trade, when he was Minister of Education, was very sympathetic to my representations about this school and promised to bring forward the date if circumstances allowed? Is he further aware that every general class in this school is in the mid-forties in size and that this is an urgent case?

I am assured that the school will be ready by the time the additional children for whom it is needed are of secondary school age.
