§ Mr. WillisI beg to move, in page 5, line 10, to leave out "consent" and to insert "sanction".
This is a minor Amendment, but in view of our discussion in Committee and the fact that the word in the principal Act is "sanction" and that the Secretary of State expressed himself as being quite willing to accept either "consent" or "sanction", I trust that we will now accept the amendment.
§ The Solicitor-General For ScotlandAs the hon. Member for Edinburgh, East (Mr. Willis) has said, I did, in effect, undertake to recommend the House to accept this Amendment. I think that the word he suggests is the better one. That is all I need to say about it.
§ Amendment agreed to.
