§ 8. Mr. Anthony Greenwoodasked the Minister of Works whether he will arrange for drawings of ancient monuments as they might have appeared in use to be displayed at the monuments in his care.
§ Mr. MolsonYes, Sir. I recently arranged for Mr. Alan Sorrell to make drawings showing conjectural reconstructions of some of the monuments in my care. A copy of the drawing is or will be displayed at each of the monuments concerned, and postcard reproductions put on sale. The original drawings will be shown on suitable occasions. If, as I expect, these drawings prove popular, I shall commission others. The drawings will be displayed in the Tea Room tomorrow.
