asked the Minister of Defence if he will examine the possibility of introducing a scheme of insurance for men and women in the Armed Forces, to make financial provision for them and their dependants in the case of wounds, injury, disease or death caused during service in the Armed Forces.

No, Sir. There is already provision for payment of benefits in the cases mentioned without contribution from the individual.
