37. Mr. Parker

asked the Minister of Works whether he will place all the seats overlooking the river in the Victoria Tower Gardens on stands similar to those on the Victoria Embankment so that their occupants can see the river.

Mr. Molson

There are already four raised seats in the Victoria Tower Gardens. It would be expensive to raise all the other riverside seats, and I do not think I should do this at present, but I will keep the matter in mind.
