54. Mr. Parkin

asked the Postmaster-General if he will give a list of the properties owned or occupied in the Metropolitan police area by the British Broadcasting Corporation, for the acquisition of which his authority has been required.

I assume that the hon. Member has in mind properties held on requisition. The only such property is at 200–212 Oxford Street, W.1, with an adjoining basement. It is expected that the B.B.C. will give up this building by the end of the year.
