§ Motion made, and Question proposed,That this House, at its rising Tomorrow, do adjourn till Tuesday, 30th April.—[The Prime Minister.]
§ Mr. Marcus Lipton (Brixton)I wish to make a suggestion which, I hope, will find favour with the Leader of the House. It is a job that he might find it possible to do before we rise for the Easter Recess. I think it is one which will have the approval of all hon. Members. It is that on our behalf he should send a good will message to Sir Anthony Eden, expressing our hope for his speedy recovery.
§ The Prime Minister (Mr. Harold Macmillan)I should like to express the gratitude of my right hon. and hon. Friends and myself for the very kind words which the hon. Gentleman has spoken. I shall certainly see that that message is conveyed.
§ Mr. Hugh Gaitskell (Leeds, South)I should like to associate myself with what my hon. Friend has said, and, speaking for the Opposition, to say that we should be very happy if such a message were to be sent to Sir Anthony Eden.
§ Question put and agreed to.
