Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make provision for the payment of subsidies in respect of the construction or improvement of silos, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—

  1. (a) all payments made in pursuance of schemes under the said Act for subsidies in respect of the carrying out of works for the construction or improvement of silos in the United Kingdom for the making and containing of silage, being works approved for the purposes of such a scheme at any time not earlier than the eighth day of November, nineteen hundred and fifty-six; and
  2. (b) any other expenses of any Minister incurred in pursuance of the said Act.—[Mr. Amory.]
