§ 32. Mr. Swinglerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government when an engineering inspector of his Department will visit Newcastle-under-Lyme for the purpose of inspecting the three private streets in respect of which the Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council has renewed its applications for loan sanction; and when he expects to be in a position to notify his decisions about these applications for approval of private street works.
§ The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (Mr. J. Enoch Powell)An inspection of these three streets was made on 9th November and my right hon. Friend hopes to be able to let the council know his decision within a week or so.
