Friend has considered this Report, and also studied the further views of the Departmental Committee on Road Safety, who considered the matter again in January last. He proposes to seek powers to deal with this matter in the Road Traffic Bill now before Parliament.

Friend aware that his reply will give satisfaction not only to the police but also to the responsible cycling clubs, whose only wish is to co-operate with the authorities to see that this sport may be continued in safety and without inconvenience to other road users?
