§ Mr. Iain MacleodIt is not possible to state how many of the workers employed in the furniture industry in adjacent areas who have been discharged or placed on short time since the beginning of the year are resident within the Chigwell urban district. On 16th April, 39 were registered as unemployed at the Chigwell Employment Exchange, of whom 30 were temporarily stopped.
