An expert Committee of the British Standards Institution, assisted by the Atomic Energy Authority, is engaged in the preparation of a uniform nomenclature covering the field of nuclear science and equipment. 486 Her Majesty's Government are also giving their support to a programme which has been drawn up by the Organisation for European Economic Co-operation for establishing a uniform nomenclature amongst its member countries.
