Friend's first statement and 16 days after his second statement before disputing the accuracy of my right hon. Friend, and, if not, can he give any explanation why these statements were delayed so long?
Mr. AmoryI think that I can say in reply to my hon. and gallant Friend only that I believe that the position is now clear and generally understood, that the global award would have been agreed by the N.F.U.s conditionally on the Government's agreeing to their schedule of distribution. In that case there would have been an agreed settlement.
