§ 59. Mr. Parkerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what progress has been made with the proposed Cornish and Pembroke coastal paths.
§ Mr. PowellMost parts of the two coastal routes in Cornwall are open to the public. The completion of formal agreements where new rights of way are required is proceeding. As regards Pembrokeshire, arrangements have been made covering nearly half of the 64 miles of new path necessary.
§ Mr. ParkerHow long does the hon. Gentleman expect it will be before these two routes are completed?
§ Mr. PowellI cannot say exactly, but the local authorities are going on with the work.
§ Mr. HaymanCan the Minister say how many miles of the Cornish footpaths remain to be opened?
§ Mr. PowellNot without notice.
