Jegerasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he is aware of the need to strengthen the banks of the River Ouse at Whitgift, so as to prevent serious flooding of the adjacent agricultural land; and whether he will consult the Yorkshire Ouse River Board with a view to expediting its proposals for this work.
