(2) what are the requirements of an au pair arrangement for foreign nationals to stay in the United Kingdom; and how details of these requirements are made available to British subjects wishing to make such arrangements.
§ Major Lloyd-GeorgeForeign girls are permitted to say here under au pair arrangements on the footing that their primary aim is to learn English, and that 556 they live as part of the family and are not used as domestic staff. These arrangements are not susceptible of more detailed definition. Mr. Maw has employed several foreign girls in the past, and I feel sure he can appreciate the difference between employment and au pair.
