Resolution reported, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make provision, amongst other things, as to the appointment, tenure of office, powers and qualification of certain judges and officers, it is expedient to authorise payment out of moneys provided by Parliament—

  1. (a) of the remuneration of persons appointed under the said Act to act for the county court judge for any district in the despatch of business at any sitting of the court for that district; and
  2. (b) any increase in the sums which fall to be so paid under any enactment relating to the salaries or superannuation of officers of the Supreme Court or of county courts, being an increase attributable to any provision of the said Act—
    1. (i) providing for the appointment of assistant district registrars of the High Court and for their salaries and superannuation; or
    2. (ii) applying to whole-time assistant registrars of county courts any of the enactments aforesaid which apply to whole-time registrars of county courts, and the payment into the Exchequer of any increase attributable to any provision of the said Act of the present Session in the sums which fall to be paid into the Exchequer under subsection (3) of section twenty-five of the Administration of Justice (Pensions) Act, 1950.
