§ Mr. Iain MacleodSeparate figures for retirement pensioners are not available, but during 1955 an average of over 2,000 men and women over the minimum 2520 pension ages were placed in employment each month. The figures for the four weeks ended 11th January last were 2,268 men and 675 women.
