Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to enable local authorities to defray certain expenses in connection with official and courtesy visits, and for purposes connected with the matter aforesaid, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any increase attributable to the provisions of the said Act in the sums payable out of moneys so provided under Part I of the Local Government Act, 1948, or under the Local Government (Financial Provisions) (Scotland) Act, 1954.—[The Attorney-General.]
