§ 17. Mrs. Mannasked the President of the Board of Trade if, in view of the Manchester Court decision of 5th December in which his Department was concerned, and the further evidence supplied by the hon. Member for Coatbridge that moneylenders are defeating his regulations in respect of hire-purchase deposits, he will now take steps to secure compliance with the intention of his credit restriction policy.
