asked the Minister of Labour when he expects to be able to issue a revised edition of Safety Pamphlet No. 16 entitled "Weight-lifting by Industrial Workers".

I expect a revised edition of this pamphlet will be published later this year.

While thanking the Parliamentary Secretary for that reply, may I ask whether he is not aware that the lack of an up-to-date edition was a great handicap to the Standing Committee which dealt with the Agriculture (Safety, Health and Welfare Provisions) Bill? We hope that the new edition will be published in the middle rather than towards the end of the year.

I agree that our present edition has a certain Victorian distinction about it. We are hurrying forward as fast as we can with an up-to-date edition, which will be published later this year.
