Suspension of Prohibitions, Limitations and Reductions If the Executive Committee considers that an irregularity which is covered by Chapter VII of the Charter has occurred, it shall immediately inform the Security Council or General Assembly, and shall suspend such of the prohibitions, limitations and reductions provided for in the Treaty as it may consider necessary, pending a decision under the Charter by the Security Council or General Assembly.
