HC Deb 16 April 1956 vol 551 c663
15. Mr. Palmer

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he will arrange to make available to the House the report of the delegation of British electrical experts visiting the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in return for the recent visit of Mr. Malenkov, Russian Minister of Power Stations, and his experts to the United Kingdom.

Mr. Aubrey Jones

As this is a technical mission for which the Central Electricity Authority is entirely responsible, it will be for the Authority to decide in due course what information about the visit can usefully be published.

Mr. Palmer

In view of the jolly but instructive time had by Mr. Malenkov and his friends when they were here, cannot we know what happens to Lord Citrine and his followers when they go to the Soviet Union?

Mr. Jones

The hon. Gentleman had better await Lord Citrine's own account of his visit.
