asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food the number of farms newly supplied with electricity in Dorset during 1952, 1953 and 1954.

I understand that Dorset comes under two different area boards and that no separate figures are available for the county as a whole.

Mr. Crouch

If my right hon. Friend has not got the separate figures, will he do his best to expedite what is known as the Compton Abbas West Orchard scheme, which has been lying about for a long time?

Mr. Amory

I shall be glad to look into that matter.

Is the Minister aware that when he gets the figures he will find they illustrate the typical progress in rural electrification by the nationalised electricity boards?
