§ 3. Mr. Ness Edwardsasked the Assistant Postmaster-General what hours have been fixed for transmission for the Independent Television Authority.
§ Sir. E. BoyleThis information was announced by my noble Friendthe Postmaster-General on Tuesday, 22nd March, in another place.
§ Mr. Ness EdwardsIs the hon. Gentleman not aware that we feel a little grievance about this matter? This question has been on the Order Paper for a fortnight and this answer should have been given in this House out of respect for the rights of the House. Is he not aware that the Postmaster-General has announced maximum hours but has not announced the minimum hours that the I.T.A. is obliged to provide for the second alternative programme? Will he convey that view to his noble Friend?
§ Sir. E. BoyleI will convey that view, but that is a different question from the one on the Order Paper.
