HC Deb 23 March 1955 vol 538 cc2059-60
32. Mr. Callaghan

asked the Assistant Postmaster-General if he will arrange to visit the Rumney and Llanrumney Estates during his visit to Cardiff on Saturday, 26th March, in order to see for himself what additional post office and telephone facilities are needed on those estates.

Sir. E. Boyle

It is my noble Friend who will be in Cardiff at the end of this week, and he will get in touch with the hon. Member before he goes.

Mr. Callaghan

Does that mean that the Postmaster-General will visit Rumney, because he has to pass through it on his way from Cardiff to Newport?

Sir. E. Boyle

It sounds as though he will visit Rumney, but I will inquire about that.
