asked the Prime Minister whether he will arrange to issue to the next-of-kin of those killed on active service in Korea, some memorial document of a permanent character.
§ The Prime Minister
The Queen has given Commands for the issue of a Memorial Scroll to the next-of-kin of members of the Forces who died as a result of service in Korea. The design and inscription were recommended by the Committee on the grant of Honours, Decorations and Medals, who took into 1452 consultation the Poet Laureate, Sir Francis Meynell, and Mr. Reynolds Stone.
I am having a note of the text of the Scroll and of the method of distribution circulated in the Official Report. A copy of the Scroll has also been placed in the Library.
